What should you check before attending a performance alone for the first time?
Verify admission, seating, the journey home and venue rules so unfamiliar logistics become concrete information. You do not need to socialize with strangers to enjoy attending by yourself.
Turn ticket details into a sequence
Check the date, venue, admission method, identification requirements and late-arrival policy against the organizer’s current information. Plan the journey home separately from the outward trip, particularly when the finish time affects transport. Allow time to find the entrance and seat. Avoid relying on one final service without considering an alternative.
Give the waiting time a simple purpose
Before the performance, read the program, notice the stage or wait quietly. You do not have to use your phone to disguise being alone. If conversation is welcome, a comment about the program is enough; let it end if the other person is not interested. Afterwards, note a moment you would like to hear or see more of as a clue for a future choice.
