Inside The Weekend Club

Building a Global
Brunch Social Club

The Weekend Club is a real-world social platform where six strangers naturally connect over weekend brunch. Our simple and sincere mission: Let a meal be the starting point for meaningful human connection.

We developed sophisticated algorithms that brings together groups of 6 each weekend, helping participants meet 5 new friends over a brunch based on personal details, personality traits, and availability.

Just real connections through real conversations. From first-timers in town to long-time locals, anyone can join.

Each week, you’ll receive five new friends recommended by our algorithm — making socializing easy and natural.

Real Conversations

All four girls at my table spoke French and had studied in Europe, what are the chances?!
I was a bit nervous because I was five minutes late, but I was actually the first one there 😂 Everyone else showed up later, super chill.
We couldn’t stop laughing about how spot-on the Wknd Club match was same age, first-timers, and all of us speak French?!
Such a fun vibe.
If you’re not single but want to meet new people, I’d seriously recommend it safe, easygoing, and great conversations 💬

Everyone at the table brought books I already own just never read.
I have this habit: when friends recommend books, I buy them… and they just sit there, collecting dust.
At my first Bookworm Table, we each shared a book. One by one, they pulled out their picks every single one already on my shelf.
I laughed, “This is insane! What are the odds?”
It felt like the universe was nudging me to finally read them.
Message received.

I’d just quit my job and was feeling lost, so I joined this brunch hoping for some clarity or at least a change.
I thought it’d be intense, but everyone at my table was also in transition: one wanted to study abroad, another to switch to NGO work, and someone just joined a startup bootcamp.
We even grabbed a second coffee together.
Our takeaway?
“We’re not falling apart, we’re just rebuilding.”
It felt too perfect to be random. Thank you for matching us.

Lately I’ve been so stressed can’t sleep because clients are driving me nuts. But I didn’t write that in my signup bio.
Then at brunch, out of six of us, there’s a meditation coach, a yoga instructor, and another studying breathwork. I literally thought, “Okay… this has to be planned. No way.”
I needed that calm energy so badly.
We even went to a second café afterward to keep chatting.
The algorithm? Kinda spooky. But in the best way.

Freelancer

This was my third time joining this week just wanted to meet new people.
By the end of brunch, I found out the guy next to me had also just been hired by the same beverage brand.
He’s on brand strategy, I’m doing their website same project!
We even made plans to co-work next week.
What are the odds?!

I usually don’t do group things.
But something about the structure felt intentional not random.
At my table, every person was in a different industry, but we all shared this sense of burnout.
There was no small talk just real conversation.
Someone said, “I think we needed this table more than we realized.”
That line stuck with me.

No pressure, just good brunch energy.
