How do you keep an interest menu without turning it into another list of goals?
Group possibilities by available time and effort, then choose one that fits the moment. An interest menu offers options; it does not need completion rates or overdue items.
Write actions you can begin
Learning music could become listening to one song and noting an instrument. Encountering a new perspective could become reading a short piece from another field. Group options into brief gaps, longer sessions and activities requiring a reservation, with the minimum preparation for each. Include your interests rather than collecting someone else’s impressive-looking lifestyle.
Remove options that no longer fit
If you repeatedly avoid an item, consider whether its conditions are inconvenient or the interest has changed. Shrink it, move it or delete it. A demanding weekly cooking goal might become occasionally trying a different seasoning. The menu should make starting easier rather than adding another set of rules.

Should the menu be as long as possible?
