Is a Supper Club a Restaurant or a Social Dinner?
The name supper club does not tell you who will share your meal. Check whether you are buying a menu, reserving your own table or joining an arranged social table. For a food experience, prioritise the menu. For new perspectives, check that participants understand conversation is part of the occasion.
Identify what the booking provides
- Read the menu, admission and seating details.
- Ask where a solo ticket holder sits.
- Check whether introductions or shared prompts are planned, and save the answer with your booking.
Confirm the social purpose of shared seating
A long restaurant table can simply be furniture. Ask: “I am coming alone; is this event arranged for individual guests to meet and talk?” Check food requirements and payment separately. A good meal and an interesting conversation can both matter to you.
