How do you connect concepts after understanding each term separately?
Choose three concepts, label their relationships with meaningful verbs and add an example for each connection. An uncertain link becomes a question to revisit, not a reason to map the entire lecture.
Make the connection explicit
For needs, constraints and proposals, a link might read “constraints narrow the available proposals.” Mark whether that relationship came from the speaker or is your inference. An unlabeled arrow or “related to” hides the question. Use a question mark and a source location when the direction is uncertain.
Test the link with a small example
Try planning a one-hour activity and explain how all three concepts appear. Add any condition that limits the relationship. A rough map that exposes confusion is useful even without polished graphics.
