Face verification (what it is & why we require it)
Face verification is a front-camera identity check reviewed by our team to confirm you’re a real person and consistent with your basic profile. It protects users, improves table quality, and reduces scams. Users who skip verification pay a higher fee.
Why it matters
- Trust creates better conversations: People open up faster when they believe the table is real and safe.
- It prevents “fake profiles” and multi-account behavior: Offline meetups require stronger safety standards than online chat.
- It supports the risk-tier system: Verification status is one input that helps separate reliable users from high-risk users.
What happens if I don’t verify?
- You may pay a higher seat fee.
- You may have less access to high-quality tables.
- Repeated suspicious behavior can push an account into a higher risk tier.
Privacy note
We use verification to confirm you’re real and consistent. We do not sell personal verification data. If you have concerns, contact support via your account page.
