What Happens After Payment?
This is The Weekend Club’s guide to what happens after making a payment in the app, from confirming a booking to checking your event details and understanding rescheduling, refunds, and pricing.
TIPS. 1 Confirming Your Successful Reservation
First, you’ll see the successful booking screen in the “Schedule” page, and you’ll also receive a confirmation email.
TIPS. 2 Checking Your Reservation Details
On Friday of the event week, you can go to the “Schedule” page to view your restaurant and new friend information. You’ll also receive a pre-event email notification.
TIPS. 3 Rescheduling and Refunds
Before Thursday 12 PM of the event week, you can reschedule or cancel your reservation and receive a refund.
TIPS. 4 Why Does the Price Fluctuate?
Your profile will be analyzed by our matching algorithm in advance and evaluated weekly based on how difficult it is to find suitable matches. If the system determines that your profile is more unique or requires more effort to match, your participation fee may be slightly higher than that of other participants.
Your participation fee is dynamically adjusted by our system based on your trust score and behavior record. This ensures that every table feels more stable, comfortable, and enjoyable for everyone.
We mainly consider two categories:
- For first-time participants — Profile completeness
- Whether you’ve completed front-camera facial verification
- Whether there are signs of multiple or suspicious accounts
If your profile isn’t fully verified or shows unusual activity, the system may increase your participation fee.
- For returning participants — Behavior record
- Number of no-shows (signing up but not showing up)
- Number and ratio of negative reviews received
- Whether you’ve given unfair or revenge-style feedback
If the system detects these patterns, your price may temporarily increase. But as you participate more and your trust score improves, your price will automatically return to normal.
How to maintain or lower your price
- Complete facial verification as soon as possible
- Show up on time
- Give honest and constructive feedback
- Fill in your profile so the AI can understand you better
